Still no more red tomatoes, thanks to the heat and drought, but now that both seem to have broken, the tomato plants are huge and laden with dozens of green fruits. Puts me in a Carly Simon kinda mood.
Pictures from Sunday, post-afternoon shower. It’s funny, I had almost forgotten that rain in summer doesn’t always mean ‘hurricane.’
Bedouin tomato
Cherokee Purple Tomato
Bi-Color Cherry Tomato
Unknown gifted tomato- small, slightly bigger than the cherry tomatoes, but slightly irregular
Unknown gifted tomato #2 Thought it was the Bedouin, given the Bedouin’s ‘pear shaped’, until I actually saw the green Bedouins…and a pear.
Tomatillo (there are at least 20(!) Friends and neighbors, expect salsa verde)
